Our standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the public-facing website and the patient portal. Our design system uses sufficient colour contrast, keyboard-navigable components, and ARIA labels on all interactive elements.
Known limitations
Some legacy PDF documents (discharge summaries, imaging reports) may not be fully accessible. We are working to add tagged-PDF exports through the patient portal by Q3 2026.
Adjusting the site to your needs
The accessibility panel (the icon in the top bar) lets you increase text size, enable high contrast, reduce motion, and toggle the classic-navy theme. Choices are saved to your browser.
Reporting a problem
If you find something that does not work accessibly, email us at accessibility@kch.sa. We aim to respond within five business days and to fix critical barriers within ten.
