Vascular Medicine & Surgery
Care for the body's network of arteries and veins.
Overview.
Our vascular team treats the full network of arteries and veins, from peripheral arterial disease and aortic aneurysm through to varicose veins, dialysis access and diabetic limb salvage. Modern endovascular techniques are used wherever they offer the safer, faster recovery, with open surgery reserved for cases where the evidence supports it. Cases are discussed in a weekly vascular MDT alongside interventional radiology.
