Overview.
Our emergency department is consultant-led 24/7 and runs to UK trauma standards, with on-site CT, ultrasound and direct activation pathways for stroke, heart attack and major trauma. A streamed triage process gets sicker patients to the right team within minutes, while a fast-track area handles minor injuries and illness without the wait. The ED is integrated with critical care, surgery and anaesthesia for seamless escalation when needed.
